Fairfax Climate
Summer land surface temperature for Fairfax County, Virginia at four geographic levels (county, tract, block group, block). Derived from Landsat imagery. Each row is one polygon at one geo_level for one year. Polygons appear in the dataset only if they contained at least one pixel reaching 110F. Critical: avg_lst_f and min_lst_f are computed across hot pixels only and are always >=100F by construction; for filterable thresholds use max_lst_f or p95_lst_f, which are computed across all polygon pixels. Use pixel_count to rank polygons by hot-area extent. Covers Summer 2024 (4 scenes) and Summer 2025 (1 scene).
