Changes

• The 1.1.0 geoBoundaries source snapshot, 249 Admin0, 3,266 Admin1, and 49,345 Admin2 exact rows, Display geometry, identities, and null temporal bounds are retained. No new source edition or historical coverage is claimed.
• The point-query runtime adds a small component bbox index so an offshore miss can avoid reading any Admin0 shape. The exact Global point bank remains the authoritative shape source.
• Lite, Display, and Detail downloads are rebuilt from the independently validated 1.1.1 Full candidate. Published 1.1.0 remains the predecessor until promotion.

Status: reviewed private-staging draft; unpublished. The public predecessor is 1.0.0. The local Full identity is global_baseline_1_1_0.

Changes

• Keeps the geoBoundaries-sourced Global administrative fallback as one static

snapshot. Its source vintage labels are provenance, not a historical coverage series or valid_from/valid_to dates for individual boundaries.

• Repackages the admitted 249 Admin0, 3,266 Admin1, and 49,345 Admin2 exact

rows, their Display geometry, identities, and reference graph as GeoParquet 1.1 with explicit OGC:CRS84. Typed null date32 bounds record the reviewed static classification without inventing applicability years.

• Derives the local app Display manifest and Lite, Display, and Detail download

candidates from the same pinned 1.1.0 Full package. Each download retains the reviewed Global source and redistribution closure.

• Applies the shared Admin Display simplification policy to the Global spine,

with exact geometry retained where a coverage group cannot safely simplify.

Scope and limits

This release does not add historical Global editions or promise a boundary for an arbitrary earlier year. Country Full packs supply more precise source windows as each country completes its independent upgrade. The Global pack remains a fallback for coverage outside those detailed releases.
